NATURE VALLEY “TRY TENNIS FOR FREE” WEEKENDS held at the club on Sunday 19th May
Lots of young children and adults took the opportunity to sign up to a FREE coaching session with Chris Lockyer

“Thank you to everyone but especially Chris for his excellent non-stop coaching sessions; Gill and Peter for organising and shopping and signing up new members; and all involved in advertising, drumming up the numbers and “meeting and greeting” a good crowd of children and adults for another Great British Tennis Weekend day in good weather – brilliant!” from Dave Hulme (Chairman)

NEARLY NEW TENNIS BALLS
This season the club will make ex-match balls available for members to buy for £2. The balls, in tins of 4, will have only been played with for one match. Please see any committee member or team captain if you are interested. Or contact [email protected]

WHATS App GROUPS
There are three Whats App groups running in the club. They are very useful to find someone to play with, make up a 4 or check the weather etc. If you would like to be added please contact Joe Broomfield on 07855688026 (general group), Chris Macleod on 07889181080 (Sunday social group), or Emma Beattie on 07765067288 (ladies coaching group).

TENNIS CLUB LOCKS
As long as you have joined as a members you will be notified via Clubspark of the numbers to access the courts and changing facilities.
Please note these have been changed for the 2019 season.

MACHINE FACILITY
Everyone is welcome to make use of the machine. Contact a committee member if you need tuition on its use.

BALL RECLYCLING
We need old tennis balls in reasonable condition and a company called Recycaball will pay us 20p/ball. There is a labelled orange container in the changing rooms. Please sort out any old balls you may have at home and bring them down to the Club. Once we have 200 we can send them off and the Club makes some money.
